This role, Accounting Manager / Client Controller, is responsible for key contributions to Mighty Financial's mission and service delivery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- [Essential] Customer billing and collections
- [Essential] Vendor bill processing and payment scheduling
- [Essential] Balance Sheet account reconciliations
- [Essential] Month-end close
- [Essential] Budget v Actual reporting
- [Essential] Variance analysis
- [Essential] Cash forecasting
- [Essential] Ad-hoc support
- Execute key responsibilities aligned with team and company priorities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to drive efficiency and service excellence.
- Maintain accurate records and support strategic initiatives.
Success Metrics / Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Achieve performance targets relevant to the role.
- Ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
- Contribute to team collaboration and customer satisfaction metrics.
*KPIs are defined during onboarding and reviewed quarterly.*
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Efficiently use QuickBooks Online
- Effectively communicate with team members, clients, and other stakeholders (both written and verbal)
- Successfully contribute to a growing organization in a remote work environment
- Confidently present and discuss financial performance
- Tactfully challenge clients and managers when appropriate from time to time
- Relevant experience or credentials for the role. (ie: QBO Certification; Accounting Degree, etc.)
- Proven skills aligned with the job function.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Compensation & Reviews
Competitive compensation aligned with experience and performance. Part-time or full-time.
- Hourly: $25-$40
- Salary: $50,000 - $80,000
Benefits are extended to full-time team members and include 401k with 4% match as well as unlimited PTO. We do not currently offer any medical benefits but hope to do so as the company grows.
Continuous feedback provided via weekly 1:1 meetings with your manager. Formal performance reviews conducted annually.
